40 Below Photography is run by me, Kimberley Crawford. This is a part time passion for me (I am a full time designer) that I hope will help me meet some awesome new people to help me build up my portfolio. And maybe someday I can make enough money for my hobby to pay for itself. Here are some notes on me and my photography:

I have been taking photos for a couple of years now, and began learning how to take portraits so that I could do fashion shoots for my clothing line, Kinky Cat Designs.

I LOVE making women feel good about themselves – both with my photography and my clothing. Because I enjoy doing this so much, my work leans more towards boudoir, pinup, and fetish styles. Every woman should feel sexy, and every woman can look sexy when given the right opportunity.

I shoot using a Canon Rebel T1i. That doesn't mean I won't work hard to give you great photos. I'd like a nicer camera, but everyone has to start somewhere, and this camera hasn't failed me yet.

I have very limited lighting gear, and very rarely use it. I'd like to learn more lighting techniques, but I prefer natural settings. I'm a tomboy who grew up spending summers in the bush, so I love shooting outside whenever possible.

I usually travel once or twice a year, making frequent trips to Newfoundland, Vancouver, and sometimes Kelowna. I'd love to work with people outside of Whitehorse, so if you would like to work with me, just send me a message. Who knows, maybe I will be in your area in the near future! ;)

**I am travelling to Boston in September to showcase my clothing in Boston Fashion Week. Dates are still TBD, but if you'd like to plan a shoot for then, let me know. Paid shoots will take precedence unless you have a really awesome and unique idea that will help my portfolio.**
